StratComm Awarded $6.2 Million Contract with USAID Indonesia

StratComm is proud to announce that our firm has been awarded its second contract with USAID. This $6.2 million contract is to print and distribute 7.5 million leveled reading books, student workbooks, and teacher guides to elementary schoolchildren and their teachers in Indonesia. For this project, StratComm will manufacture and provide the necessary logistics to distribute millions of books to early-grade students and their teachers in approximately 11,000 schools for the USAID Indonesia Ministry on Education and Culture (MOEC), Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA) under its Prioritizing Reform, Innovation and Opportunities for Reaching Indonesia’s Teachers, Administrators, and Students (PRIORITAS) program.

One of the PRIORITAS program goals is to improve education management and governance in Indonesian schools. By providing these books to schoolchildren, USAID hopes to help improve their reading skills and supplement and enrich existing classroom instruction. StratComm will manage the distribution of books to all target and pilot schools in 50 school districts in seven provinces within Indonesia.

Recently, StratComm successfully completed its first mission for USAID, to print and deliver 2.5 million textbooks to the Ministry of Education in Tanzania.
