StratComm Awarded $4.7 Million Contract with VA for Web-Based Virtual Interactive Training

StratComm was awarded a $4.7 million contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information Technology to develop an online virtual training platform. In light of increasing challenges in the workforce to travel off-site to participate in training, StratComm created an innovative, custom-built web-based training solution for the VA. This online resource, called a Multi-User Virtual Environment (MUVE), serves to help VA staff stay current on professional development.

Students experience instruction in real-time and recorded sessions, interact with the instructor and other students, and have instant access to graphics and other presentation material—all from anywhere they have access to the Internet. Such a platform will increase productivity of students, save travel expenses, and include learners who are not able to participate in on-site training.
