StratComm Awarded Contract with RTI for 508 Compliance Services
StratComm was awarded a subcontract with RTI International on an initiative to perform 508 compliance remediation services for the Survey of Graduate Students and Postdoctorates in Science and Engineering (GSS), conducted by the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES) within the National Science Foundation (NSF). The GSS collects information about master’s and doctoral student enrollment and about researchers in science and engineering fields. This five-year contract will involve remediation of documents and reports related to the methodology of the GSS to comply with Section 508 accessibility standards and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and U.S. Department of Education requirements. Files will be delivered with HHS checklists and reference WCAG 2.0. StratComm has partnered with RTI on many other initiatives, including for 508 remediation, and we are looking forward to continuing our working relationship.
