StratComm Awarded Contract with Marvin Land Systems for IETM Production

StratComm has been awarded a contract with Marvin Land Systems to convert technical, engineering content into a MIL STD 400051-2C Interactive Electrical Technical Manual (IETM) using the MIL STD XML markup language. For this project, StratComm is authoring and creating mechanical and electrical procedures for an integrated system, depicting complex technology in comprehensive line art renderings to satisfy rigorous Department of Defense standards. StratComm has also developed documentation in accordance with the MIL STD to ensure intuitive navigation of engineering data integral to the operation and maintenance of the system.

In performance of this work, StratComm’s MIL STD XML subject matter expert developed an agile and adaptable schedule to output content to produce a comprehensive manual that will guide users through complex operational and maintenance procedures.
