StratComm Wins APEX Award for 2nd Time

StratComm is pleased to announce that we have been named a recipient of an Award of Excellence in the 32nd annual APEX Awards for Publication Excellence. StratComm was honored in the Websites category for our redesign of the NIH MedlinePlus magazine website.

Since 2017, StratComm has published the quarterly print and online versions of NIH MedlinePlus magazine for the National Institutes of Health. The magazine highlights important health information and research from the NIH for the American public.

We are proud to be a two-time APEX award winner, having also been honored in 2018 for our production of the print version of NIH MedlinePlus magazine. From almost 1,200 entrants across several categories in this year’s competition, StratComm received one of just 10 Awards of Excellence in the Websites category.

The APEX Awards are an annual competition for publishers, editors, writers, and designers. The awards recognize excellence in graphic and website design and editorial content.

The Department of State contracted with StratComm to copyedit and design the annual report to Congress for the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
