The hiring process can be challenging. The U.S. Department of State has more than 200 embassies and consulates worldwide and are charged with hiring hundreds of employees every year! With no standard pre-employment testing system, many prospective employees were using paper and pencil tests and having the results hand-scored. This made their hiring process lengthy and created a whole host of problems for the government.

Our team implemented our web-based skills testing program that offers a full catalog of online pre-employment tests that pinpoint skills of job applicants and identify skill gaps in the Department’s existing workforce. Whether posts wanted to test applicants on typing, language skills, MS Office, accounting and finance, specialized software applications, or another type of subject-based or job-based test, with the StratComm program they had instant access to a catalog of more than 650 tests.
StratComm also customized tests for the posts depending on their specific needs; for example, paper and pencil tests that could be pushed into our online testing platform through our Web Editor technology. The newly created, customized tests blended seamlessly within the platform.
Staff at posts around the world appreciated how user-friendly the software was. They could administer any test to an applicant and have scoring results and reporting as soon as the applicant was finished.
