StratComm Recognized with APEX Award for NIH MedlinePlus Magazine

We’re excited to announce that StratComm has received an APEX award for Publication Excellence for the production of the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) consumer health magazine, NIH MedlinePlus.
The APEX Awards are an annual competition for corporate and nonprofit publishers, editors, writers, and designers who create print, web, electronic, and social media content. The 2018 awards were announced earlier this summer.
StratComm proudly received an award for Most Improved in the Magazines, Journals & Tabloids category, recognizing our innovative editorial and graphic design work.
Since 2017, StratComm has been contracted to publish both the quarterly print and web magazine, which highlights the latest NIH research updates and important health news for the American public. StratComm works with NIH’s dedicated communications team at NIH’s National Library of Medicine to develop the content included in the magazine.
In addition to an updated print version, StratComm and NLM are planning to roll out a new MedlinePlus magazine website soon to reach new audiences and showcase even more great health content from NIH.
