StratComm Welcomes Emily Poe as Managing Editor of Medline Plus

StratComm is pleased to welcome a new member to our expanding team, Emily Poe. Emily is an experienced writer and editor who has both an eye for detail and an ability to step back and look at the larger picture and direction of content. Emily is the managing editor for the National Institutes of Health’s MedLine Plus Magazine, which StratComm is contracted to publish. In this role, she oversees editorial operations for the quarterly magazine, working closely with StratComm editorial staff and NIH’s communications team to plan each issue including celebrity cover story articles, generate new article ideas, edit content, and manage our team of writers.
Emily has extensive experience producing content in the health care, technology, and policy spaces. Before joining StratComm, she was communications editor at the American Gastroenterological Association, where she developed and edited content for the organization’s website and weekly newsletter. She also has expertise in a variety of other online, print, and newsletter publications, including those at CQ Roll Call and McGraw-Hill.
We are delighted to welcome Emily to the StratComm team.
